BURSA MALAYSIA WEBSITE IS NOW ACCESSIBLE IN BAHASA MALAYSIA AND CHINESE LANGUAGES, IN ADDITION TO THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE, TO CATER FOR A WIDER AUDIENCE
Kuala Lumpur, 28 November 2016 – Bursa Malaysia Berhad (“Bursa Malaysia”) today announced that the exchange’s corporate website http://www.bursamalaysia.com is now accessible in three languages namely English, Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese, making it among the first financial and investment institutions in Malaysia to offer multi-language website.
The multi-language website was developed to better serve Bursa Malaysia’s broad investor base in the three main languages widely used in Malaysia, and to promote financial inclusion and market access for Malaysians.
The website embodies Bursa Malaysia’s brand commitment to offer investors with a more inclusive and well connected marketplace, which includes the exchange’s diverse products and services.
The multilingual content currently available on Bursa Malaysia website includes website navigation, general information on Bursa Malaysia, products and services, FAQs and glossary.
Recognising the fact that it is essential for Bursa Malaysia to provide easy access to information for investors, the exchange took a proactive measure by adding Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese our website, in addition to the English language.
