- What is Bursa Anywhere?
Bursa Anywhere is Bursa Depository’s self-service electronic platform, available in mobile application, that enables the depositors to access, manage, execute CDS transactions and receive CDS notifications electronically.

- Who would be eligible to register for Bursa Anywhere?
- New individual investor who wishes to open a CDS account; or
- Individual depositor with existing direct CDS account(s) with Bursa Depository
- How do I register for Bursa Anywhere?
You need to download Bursa Anywhere from Google Play Store for Android users or App Store for iOS users. The pre-requisite information to register for Bursa Anywhere are valid email address and registered mobile number to receive the SMS TAC verification code. To follow the instructions on the Bursa Anywhere screen in order to complete the registration.
For existing individual depositor who wishes to register an email address for a CDS account, you would need the unique six (6) digit password phrase stated in your hardcopy CDS statement of accounts and notices prior to registering your email address. If you cannot locate your password phrase, kindly contact Bursa Anywhere Service Desk at 03-2034 7090 or email to [email protected] to obtain the password phrase.
- Can I register for Bursa Anywhere if I hold a nominee CDS account?
Bursa Anywhere services are currently offered to individuals with direct CDS account(s) only.
- Can I register for Bursa Anywhere if my current CDS account status is inactive/dormant?
Regardless of the account status, individuals with existing direct CDS accounts may register for Bursa Anywhere. Individuals may use Bursa Anywhere to reactivate their dormant or inactive account.
- Can I register for Bursa Anywhere via a desktop or notebook/laptop?
Bursa Anywhere is a mobile application, hence it is only available on mobile devices i.e., handphones and tablets.
- Can I access my CDS statement of account via Bursa Anywhere?
Yes. Individual depositor who has registered Bursa Anywhere will receive a copy of your/his/her monthly statement of CDS account via Bursa Anywhere. The depositor, via Bursa Anywhere, can access to your/his/her archived previous twelve (12) months’ CDS statement of account or since the date of registration of valid email address in CDS, whichever is the latest.
- What are the services I can perform in Bursa Anywhere?
The following services are provided in Bursa Anywhere for individual depositors:
a) Opening of a new CDS account;
b) Enquiring securities balances;
c) Viewing of monthly CDS statements (for all direct CDS accounts);
d) Updating of depositor’s particulars in CDS;
e) Transferring of securities between the direct CDS accounts of a depositor;
f) Reactivating inactive account;
g) Reactivating dormant account;
h) Subscribing to Electronic Dividend (“eDividend”);
i) Requesting to consolidate CDS statement of accounts / bank account information for eDividend purposes;
j) Applying for Rights Issue (“eRights”);
k) Participating in General Offer / Take Over corporate exercise (“eGO”); or
l) Participating in electronic Dividend Reinvestment Plan (“eDRP”).
