Balance Inquiry
- Can I know my account balance if I do not wish to pay for an ad-hoc statement of account? Yes. You can obtain account balance by completing a Balance Inquiry Request form which is available at your ADA/stockbroking company’s office. You will be given your latest CDS account balance without the transaction details.
Alternatively, you may register for Bursa Anywhere mobile app and access all CDS account(s) and your portfolio balances in the mobile app under your direct name and same NRIC number. - Can my dealer's representative have access to my account balance? In accordance with the Rules of Bursa Malaysia Depository, you can authorise your dealer's representative/remisier to inquire about your CDS account balance for a specific period or indefinitely, unless such access is revoked earlier by you. by you.
- Can I inquire my stock balance from my stockbroking company via telephone? In the interest of protecting the confidentiality and security of your CDS account, you are not encouraged to verify your securities balance with the ADA/stockbroking company via telephone. Instead, you may access the securities balance of your direct CDS accounts via Bursa Anywhere mobile application or by completing and submitting a Balance Inquiry Request form to your ADA/stockbroking company, where your signature or those of your authorised signatories will be verified by the ADA/stockbroking company.
