Panel Discussion 1: Paving the Road to EV - Government Policies and Implementation
The development of EV is a key aspect of Malaysia’s GHG aspirations (as part of the Paris Agreement and ASEAN Fuel Economy Roadmap). In this session, we discuss the environmental and economic benefits of EV adoption, and the challenges/opportunities in implementing the policies.

Panel Discussion 3: Offsetting Emissions with the Voluntary Carbon Market
Bursa Malaysia is set to launch the Voluntary Carbon Market (VCM) exchange by end-2022. The exchange will allow companies to voluntarily purchase carbon credits (from climate-friendly projects and solutions) to offset carbon emissions. In this panel, we explore opportunities and challenges of VCM in Malaysia and its relevance to the EV/automotive industry.
