Islamic Capital Market
The establishment of Labuan International Financial Exchange
(LFX) in 2000 provides further impetus to the development of offshore Islamic capital market. The
LFX, a wholly owned subsidiary of Bursa Malaysia, is based in Labuan IOFC and is regulated by the
Labuan Offshore Financial Services Authority (LOFSA). It is a web based financial exchange that
provides listing and trading facilities for a wide range of financial and non-financial products as
