On Bursa Malaysia Derivative Bhd, two of its nine products traded
were approved as Shariah-compliant instruments by SAC. These are Crude Palm Oil Futures (FCPO) and
Single Stock Futures (SSF) of Shariah-compliant underlying stocks. SSF was launched in April 2006
to provide investors with Islamic investment alternatives as well as a risk management tool.
