FOW - The Global Derivatives Magazine - is essential reading for all those involved in the global derivatives and risk management industry. Since its launch in 1982, FOW has been at the heart of the derivatives market, giving prime position to celebrate the industries achievements with an annual awards ceremony launched in 2007. Towards the end of last year, FOW began gathering anonymous nominations for possible contenders for the 2008 awards. Nominees came in from around the world and after a shortlist had been piled the judging began. Over 50 of the industries leaders gave their opinions as to which firms had been successful in the past twelve, quite turbulent, months. Innovation, growth of business, expansion into new areas and exemplary customer service were rewarded at this year's ceremony which took place at Plasterers' Hall, One London Wall.
