Bursa Malaysia, as a front-line regulator is committed to maintaining high standards of corporate governance (CG) so as to maintain market integrity. Bursa Malaysia is continuously championing initiatives to promulgate the importance of embracing the best practices of CG with their listed issuers.
Asian Corporate Governance Association in collaboration with CLSA Asia-Pacific Markets produced "CG Watch 2007", a survey report of corporate governance in Asia. Titled "On a Wing and a Prayer: The Greening of Governance", the report assesses the quality of corporate governance in 11 Asian markets and provides aggregate data from 582 listed issuers.
CLSA CG Watch 2007The World Bank has produced a series of report on corporate governance country assessments carried out under the Reports on Observance of Standards and Codes (ROSC) program. The corporate governance ROSC assessments examine the legal and regulatory framework, enforcement activities, and private sector business and compliance, and benchmark the practices and compliance of listed firms against the OECD Principles of Corporate Governance.
