About LFX

Labuan, Malaysia, was designated as an international financial centre in 1990. As part of its development, an international financial exchange, LFX, was launched on 23 November 2000.

Exchange Committee

 The committee members are:
  • Datuk Seri Tajuddin Bin Atan (Chairman)
  • Encik Jamaluddin Nor Mohamad
  • Puan Rosidah Binti Baharom

Licensing Committee

Handles all matters pertaining to the licensing of the Listing Sponsors of the Exchange. Includes the approval and issuance of new licences and the suspension of existing licences. The committee members are:

  • Datuk Seri Tajuddin Bin Atan (Chairman)
  • Encik Jamaluddin Nor Mohamad
  • Puan Rosidah Binti Baharom

Listing Committee

Handles all matters relating to the listing of new financial instruments and post listing obligations. The committee members are:

  • Encik Jamaluddin Nor Mohamad
  • Puan Rosidah Binti Baharom

Disciplinary Committee

Handles all disciplinary issues relating to market participants of LFX. The committee members are:

  • Datuk Seri Tajuddin Bin Atan (Chairman)
  • Encik Jamaluddin Nor Mohamad
  • Puan Rosidah Binti Baharom

Market Development

Handles all matters pertaining to the customers of the Exchange including developing and marketing of the exchange business.

Operations

Handles all matters pertaining to the operational activities, that includes licensing, listing, business continuity plan of the exchange and other operational related activities.It also performs the supervising and monitoring of market players to ensure compliance with the Exchange's Rules and Regulations.

Support Services

Handles IT support, finance, administration and human resource functions.
