Derivatives Clearing & Settlement System

Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Clearing Berhad (The Clearing House), a wholly owned subsidiary of Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Berhad (BMD), is an approved Clearing House for the Malaysian derivatives market under the Capital Market Services Act. The Clearing House clears and settles derivatives contracts through Derivatives Clearing & Settlement System (DCS). Derivatives Clearing System (DCS) is a system that is used for the sole purpose of supporting derivatives clearing & settlement and risk management functions.

This includes activities such as:

  • Transmitting clearing information to Clearing Participants, Derivatives Exchange and Securities Commission
  • Clearing Participants transmit clearing instructions to the Clearing House.
