The Bursa Bull Charge 2015 organised for the second time by Bursa Malaysia Berhad (“Bursa Malaysia” or “The Exchange”) today distributed to beneficiaries a total of RM 1.8 million for charity, exceeding its initial target of RM 1.5 million and surpassing the RM 1.37 million raised at last year’s inaugural Bursa Bull Charge.

YB Datuk Chua Tee Yong, Deputy Minister of Finance, and Tan Sri Amirsham A Aziz, Chairman of Bursa Malaysia, graced the cheque presentation ceremony held at Bursa Malaysia, which was attended by a large crowd of Bursa Bull Charge beneficiaries, sponsors, partners and participants.

All of the RM 1.8 million total funds raised will be fully distributed to the beneficiaries of the Bursa Bull Charge 2015. The 10 main beneficiaries will receive RM 1.18 million and the recipients are Koperasi Ibu Tunggal Pantai Halt Kuala Lumpur Berhad, Persatuan Kebajikan An-Najjah Malaysia, My Performing Arts Agency, Kelab Belia Kalsom, Persatuan Rumah Amal Sabah (Sabah Cheshire Home), Persatuan Warga Kerja Jabatan Tenaga Kerja Negeri Perak, Pusat Inkubator Jahitan Orang Asli Gerik, Centre for the Advancement of Social Entrepreneurship (CASE), Persatuan C.H.I.L.D. “Once again, I would like to thank everyone who contributed to making the Bursa Bull Charge a success.  We are all very grateful for the support and investment in the future and sustainability of the communities that we are championing.  I would also like to take this opportunity to officially announce that the next Bursa Bull Charge and all those that follow will be held on the third week of August,” continued Dato’ Tajuddin.
